NOTICE OF FILING TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL

Notice is hereby given that the Assessor has completed the
TENTATIVE Assessment Roll for the Town of Lima in the County of Livingston for the year 2024. The Roll will be filed May 1, 2024 and may be seen and examined by any person until the fourth Tuesday of May.
The Board of Assessment Review will meet to hear complaints at The Lima Town Hall located at 7329 East Main St, Lima, NY 14485 on Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 4:00-8:00pm. Grievance forms are available in the Assessor’s office or online at www.tax.ny.gov.
The Assessor will be in attendance with the roll at The Lima Assessor’s Office located at 7329 East Main St, Lima, NY 14485 on Mondays May 6, 13, 20 from 9:30-12:00 and 1:30-3:00 as well as Monday, May 13 from 6:00-8:00pm. Please call 585-624-6120 if you wish to make an appointment during those times (please leave a voice message with your phone number for day & evening and your call will be returned). You must schedule an appointment.
In accordance with Section 526 of the Real Property Tax Law, a publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the Assessor's Office.

Please take notice that I, Jennifer Heim, CMC/RMC, the undersigned Collector of Taxes of the Town of Lima, County of Livingston, State of New York, have duly received the Tax Roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Lima for the year 2024.
Payments can be made in person or mailed at/to: Town of Lima, 7329 East Main Street, Lima, New York 14485 beginning December 31, 2023. Payments may also be placed in our drop box located on the side of the building at above address. Taxpayers may also view, print, and/or pay their bill via the Town’s website at www.lima-ny.org
Office Hours: Monday - Wednesday: 8:30am-4pm, Thursday: 1pm-6pm and Friday: 8:30am-noon
Take further notice, taxes may be paid on or before January 31, 2024, without penalty. On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest of 1% through February 28th and interest of 2% through March 31st.
Pursuant to Section 987 of the Real Property Tax Law, a delinquent notice will be mailed on or after March 1st. The law mandates the expenses of mailing such notice shall add a penalty of $2 against the Parcel.
Take further notice, pursuant to the provisions of law, the tax roll of the Town of Lima will be returned to the Livingston County Treasurer’s Office on a date, to be determined, in early April 2024.

In accordance with section of 103 of the general Municipal Law, notice is hereby given that the Town Board of Lima will meet on December 6, 2022 to receive bids on approximately 10,000 gallons of Low Sulfur Diesel fuel and approximately 3,000 gallons of gasoline, to be delivered at the Town Highway Garage when needed for the year 2023. Fuel and gas must be checked on a weekly basis to ensure supply.
Specifications for fuel oil and gasoline can be obtained at the Town Clerk’s Office located at 7329 East Main Street, Lima, NY during regular business hours.
Bids must be received no later than 11AM December 2, 2022. The Lima Town Board and or Highway Superintendent reserve the right to reject any or all bids.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LIMA ADOPTED SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Resolution was adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Lima on June 7, 2022 by majority vote at a duly convened and noticed public meeting, subject to permissive referendum, whereby the Town Board of the Town of Lima authorized the Lease of certain water distribution facilities within the jurisdictional limits of the Town, which include water transmission mains, fire hydrants, valves, water services, and water meters that comprise cumulatively the water distribution improvements located within the Town of Lima Water Districts No. 1, 2,3 and 4 to the Livingston County Water and Sewer Authority. Said resolution authorized the Lease of such facilities and improvements for a term of forty (40) years.
Such action was adopted subject to permissive referendum and notice thereof is hereby provided pursuant to New York State Town Law §90; and
Pursuant to New York State Town Law, any petition for referendum must be made and filed pursuant to Article 7 thereof; and
Copies of the Town Board minutes reflecting the above referenced Town Board Resolution may be obtained at the Lima Town Hall from the Office of the Town Clerk.

Please take notice that I, Jennifer Heim, CMC/RMC, the undersigned Collector of Taxes of the Town of Lima, County of Livingston, State of New York, have duly received the Tax Roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Lima for the year 2022.
Payments can be made in person or mailed at/to: Town of Lima, 7329 East Main Street, Lima, New York 14485 beginning December 31, 2021. Payments may also be placed in our drop box located on the side of the building at above address. Taxpayers may also view, print, and/or pay their bill via the Town’s website at www.lima-ny.org
Office Hours: Monday: 8am-noon/1pm-4pm, Tuesday: 8am-noon/1pm-4pm, Wednesday: 9am-noon, Thursday: noon-7pm and Friday: 8am-noon/1pm-4pm.
Take further notice, taxes may be paid on or before January 31, 2022, without penalty. On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest of 1% through February 28th and interest of 2% through March 31st.
Pursuant to Section 987 of the Real Property Tax Law, a delinquent notice will be mailed on or after March 1st. The law mandates the expenses of mailing such notice shall add a penalty of $2 against the Parcel.
Take further notice, pursuant to the provisions of law, the tax roll of the Town of Lima will be returned to the Livingston County Treasurer’s Office on a date, to be determined, in early April 2022.
